CHALLENGE :: NASA has more than 40 spacecraft performing scientific
missions in deep space. When it comes to communications
between scientists and these space-based labs, there are no second
chances, so the data-gathering technology and team need to
work flawlessly.
SOLUTION :: In September 2003, our Systems Division won a
$580 million contract from NASA to support its global network of
deep space antennas. Just days after assuming control, our team
perfectly coordinated the transmission of momentous messages
from rovers that landed on Mars.
