ITT awarded Systems and Missions Support II contract by the U.S. Air Force
HERNDON, Va., August 11, 2008 - ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced it is one of six prime contractors that have been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Air Force to provide mission and requirements support to United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). The total contract is valued at up to $900 million over a period of five years. ITT’s work will be managed out of its Bellevue, Neb. office.
Under the USSTRATCOM Systems and Missions Support (USAMS) II contract, the ITT team will provide management and professional support services, including analysis, engineering and technical services. These combined services contribute to the accomplishment of USSTRATCOM missions including deterrence, space operations, global strike, and cyber defense. The USAMS II contract supports USSTRATCOM as well as its agencies and supporting commands.
