Highlights from the 2007 Leadership Forum
In mid-February, ITT held its annual Leadership Forum. The 2007 event brought the company's top 500 executives to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to establish alignment around ITT's corporate priorities, create stronger bonds across business lines, and honor the best performers for the past year.
Every presentation, every interactive workshop, every handout was geared toward giving participants what they need to be leaders who live ITT's commitment to lean, ethics, inclusion and diversity, new product development and strong financial performance -- and who inspire the people around them to do the same.
"We have about one percent of our population here," said Steve Loranger in his opening keynote speech, "but there are another 37,000 terrific employees who are not in the room and whose success in career development and business performance depends on your leadership."
